A Floppy used to be enough BackUp protection, but not with the large Hard Drives used today.

A Good Back Up Is the most important thing that you can do for yourself and your computer.  Nothing else that you discover on this page will trump that statement. If you do not have at least one additional copy of every picture, music, or data file on your computer, stored somewhere on a different media, you are at risk. Restoring that information could cost a minimum of $700. if it  can ever be restored at all. A complete backup system could cost as little as $200.if you do it before you lose data.

Email Phishing: Scammers and Hackers will often send out official looking email to unsuspecting internet users. The email may claim that one of your financial accounts has been suspended or closed, pending some action on your part. It will ask that you click on a link that will allow you to log-in to your account. When you do, the phishing scam is complete - as they now have your financial information, and can use it to log on and access your funds.
The best advise is to never respond to anyone claiming to be from a financial institution. Only access your account directly, by typing in the address yourself or making use of the personal bookmarks on you own PC.
